Lakehouse

Saline Lake, 1987. Tucked away in the scenic beauty of lakefront property, Waylon Landry’s cabin has provided his family several years of fun, tranquil escapes. These walls also hide the many secrets of its previous owner. When Waylon invites six friends down to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend, things go terribly wrong. Following the disappearance of one of the revelers, Waylon and his guests soon find themselves targeted by a clever, deranged killer. Known for his laid-back, personable writing style and complex plotting, Ashley Blake brings a horrific yet redeeming story to the page with Lakehouse. From the author of The Parent Killer, Dear Arial, Dark Bayou, and Nightriders comes a vivid thriller full of twists and bone-breaking intrigue.

I will be honest, I am not a reader, but this kept me wanting more and reading with anticipation of what would be around the corner. As you read you can picture in your mind every detail he is writing. I believe he has made me a reader and I will have to read another title he has written. This would be an amazing movie. LOVE THE BOOK!!
